Mid-Winter Potluck – 12:00 Noon  – January 29

Great Food, Fellowship, and a musical guest. Mid-Winter Songfest!  Bring food & freewill offering.  Great fellowship with around 35 gathering on a very cold winter day!


George Washington Patriotic Party – Feb. 22

Morning coffee with patriotic music and highlights of Washington’s life.  Experience the power of positive patriotism.  Cross of Glory Baptist - $6.00 per person.  Around 35 people enjoyed speaker Dave Racer that day and had a great time of fellowship in the spirit of patriotism.


The Federal Reserve & Mystery Tour – Mar. 19

An outing to Minneapolis for a fascinating tour of the Federal Reserve Bank and to the Golden Valley Historical Society, a surprise for the day!  With lunch inbetween the two tours at the U Garden Restaurant.  Includes lunch and transportation from St. Louis Park.  $39 each.  A total of 21 were present that day to enjoy the sites and good food and fellowship.

Silos/Smokestacks & Amana Colonies – June 26-28

A three-day tour to enjoy a variety of the history, culture, music, food, and attractions of this historic district in N.E. Iowa.  Great fellowship and attractions!  $279 per person.  A wonderful group of 57 people - a full bus enjoyed this three day outing with great blessings on all sides!


Al & Alma’s Luncheon Cruise – July 22

An enjoyable luncheon cruise sailing from Al & Alma's, partly sponsored by the Gillespie Center in Mound.  $19 or less.  Such a great response that we had to do two different dates...30 on one and 49 on the other...good food, fellowship, and only a thunderstorm cut the seccond cruise short by several minutes.


Northfield For a Day  – August 22

A tour of this college town, with a special picnic lunch together.  Good food, local attractions, history, music, and more!   Less than $59 each.  We had a total of 37 people who enjoyed a date of touring historic sites and enjoying the music of The Troubadors.  Absolutely beautiful weather on that Thursday!


Mackinac Island & the U.P. - September 17-20

Four days of great fellowship, food, special musical programs, natural beauty, and the history of this famous Michigan destination.  All this hopefully for under $479 per person.  A full 58-passenger bus has been filled already.


Young at Heart Fall Festival – October 25

Enjoy this gathering that will share crafts and handwork to show and sell, a talent show, food of the season, and more!  About 48 people enjoyed this gathering which featured the talent of John & Mary Chamberlain Anderson.


Annual Christmas Luncheon – December 6

Our annual party with good food and enjoyable program, featuring Allen Carlson and his family with a special Christmas program.  Around $18 for lunch & program.
